Who is this guy?
Raised in Chicago, Pat August received his BFA in acting from the theater conservatory at Chicago College of Performing Arts. Upon graduating, Pat August received the Sarah Siddons Scholarship and continued their training, studying improv and sketch writing at Second City Chicago. In 2020, August relocated to LA where he trained under Ivana Chubbuck in her masterclass in West Hollywood. They are currently represented by Aqua Talent’s theatrical and commercial division.
Pat August is best known for his appearance as the reoccurring role of SAD (otherwise known as “The Standard American Diet”) in KOS’ “Don’t be Sad” marketing campaign. In 2023 August co-stared as TODD in the web series Dana and The Wolf.
Aside from acting, August is also a writer. In 2023 August co-wrote and starred in the short film Admissions of Desire, which premiered at the Hammer Museum as part of the Flux Screening series. Their work as a playwright has been featured with Lakeside Shakespeare Theater, Rhino Fest, Drinking & Writing Theater, Chicago 24, and The Make Ready reading series.
